Refund policy
This policy applies only to items sold on our website. Our in-store return policy is posted at each store location.
Eligible items may be returned for refund within 7 days. You must notify us that you wish to return an item within 7 days after your receipt of the item. All returned items must be in brand new, unused condition with all of the packaging and instructions that came with the item originally. Many of our products are delicate and difficult to ship; all products must be returned in their original shipping materials and packaging to prevent damage during the return journey. Any damage occurring due to improper packing of your return will be deducted from your refund. Some items are not eligible for return or may be subject to restocking fees, as described below. We reserve the right to refuse any return based upon the condition of the item, missing parts, or missing packaging.
Some items may not be returned. ALL SALES ARE FINAL and we do not accept returns on the following items:
- Mattresses and bedding
- Upholstery and pilllows
- Consumable or perishable items
- DIY and craft items including florals
- Custom and special order items (once the item has been ordered)
- Sale and markdown items
- Any items sold by Adjectives community vendors
Restocking and Cleaning Fees. All furniture refunds are subject to a restocking and cleaning fee of up to 20%, with a minimum of 3% to cover our credit card fees. Exchanges or gift cards are not subject to a restocking fee. We reserve the right to refuse any furniture return, or charge an additional cleaning fee, if furniture is not returned to us in perfect and unused condition. Furniture exposed to smoke of any type is not returnable under any circumstances. If you received a free or reduced cost delivery on a furniture purchase, the full original cost of the delivery will be deducted from your refund amount.
To initiate a return, email us at help@shopadj.com or stop in to any of our locations. If your return is accepted, we’ll email you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package, or how to schedule a pickup if applicable. If the product is damaged or defective, or we sent the wrong item, we will pay the cost of return shipping. Otherwise, we will deduct the return shipping cost from your refund. The shipping cost will depend on the size and weight of the package, but we will only charge you the actual cost. Returns will need to be sent to the following address: Adjectives Market, 1200 E. Altamonte Dr. Ste. 1010, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701. Items sent back to us without an approved return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return question at help@shopadj.com.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us right away at help@shopadj.com if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want for online orders is to initiate a return for the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. That way, we can ship the replacement item out to you while your return is on the way to us.
Refunds and Gift Cards
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if your refund or credit was approved or not. If approved for a refund, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. For a gift card, you should receive your gift card in the mail within 15 business days. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at help@shopadj.com.
